Long Multiplication 1
Now we need to look at Long Multiplication.
All we actually do is several lines of 'short' multiplication then add the results.
We must remember that every time we move along one column to do the next number, the answer must move along too.
We do this by placing zeroes.
Here is a simple example:

2 times 34 equals 68
place the zero, then 1 times 34 equals 34
add them up!
